HEALTH & FITNESS
If you are in good health, enjoy exercise and adventure, you qualify for our treks. Upon booking we send you a form to be completed by your doctor. If you fail this medical, a full refund will be paid, providing you return the 60 days before trip departure.
PRIVATE EXPEDITIONS
If you have a family or a group of 4 or more friends, interested in a trip, we are able to arrange a special trip for you.
HOW TO BOOK
To book an Australian Andean Adventures holiday or to request further information is easy. Simply phone, fax or write to us, stating which trip you are interested in, and we will forward trip notes and a booking form.
TRIP PAYMENT
1. A deposit
of $200 is required for each person for each trip.
2. The full payment owing is due 60 days prior to trip departure.
TRIP INFORMATION
Upon receipt of your booking form and deposit, we mail you a detailed information book, trip itinerary and travel details.
CANCELLATION
Prior to 45 days from the departure date, a fee of $200 per person will be charged. From 45 to 15 days prior to departure $400 per person will be charged. Within 14 days of departure $700 per person will be charged and , on or after departure date, the full land content plus any airline cancellation fees that may be incurred will be charged.
INSURANCE
It is a condition of booking this tour that the passenger is fully insured for the full duration of their tour. Travel insurance is available in our office upon request.
WHAT WE PROVIDE
Return, economy airfare from Sydney to South America on all published tours (except Manu, and trips booked on "land-only" basis). Free baggage allowance of 20Kg. All internal flights, and ground transport on published tours. Accommodation (on a twin-share basis) in towns and cities. All meals except lunch and dinner whilst in towns and cities. A complimentary meal is available on first arriving in buenos Aires. Professional expedition staff. All group equipment including crampons and ice axes on climbing trips. Comprehensie medical kit, with leaders trained in first aid and rescue. Dry, comfortable tents with sleeping mats in the outdoors. Porterage of all food and equipment unless otherwise specified.
NOT INCLUDED IN TOUR COST
Visa and passport charges. Airport departure taxes. laundry, postage, personal clothing, medical expenses and items of a personal nature. Sleeping bag and pack (available for hire). Personal travel insurance and emergency evacuation charges. Excess baggage charges.
ITINERARY AND TRIP PRICE
Prices and itineraries of all tours published in this brochure and separate insert sheet were correct at the time of printing. Quotes are based on airfares, land costs, exchange rates, and local taxes. In the event of any large fluctuations in prices up to the day of departure, Australian Andean Adventures reserves the right to amend the stated prices, without notice. Trip costs are calculated ex Sydney (except Manu), but we will book you on the best or cheapest commercial flight from anywhere in the world. Most trips are based on an optimum group size. We intend to sell each trip to ensure maximum economy for the participants. For a smaller group we may be forced to invite those signed up to meet a surcharge or cancel the trip.
LAND ONLY PRICES
You may join our trips in Buenos Aires, La Paz, Cuzco and Santiago on a land-only basis, if you prefer to arrange your own travel.
ROUTE CHANGES
It is possible that a route or itinerary change may become necessary. This could be due to inclement weather, political restrictions or any other cause. Route changes will always be at the discretion of the trek leader. No refund will be available in event of any route or itinerary change.
POSTPONEMENT OR DELAY
We will not be responsible for postponement or delay caused by schedule changes, or canceled or delayed flights at any point in the trip. Every effort will be made to minimize any inconvenience caused, but we are not responsible for any additional cost that may be incurred.
